The Irish Canadian Rugby Club and Markham RFC are pleased to announce that they are expanding by combining their resources to build on the rich traditions of each club.
The ICRC, founded in 1950, has an enviable record of cup and league success by its senior men and women teams.  Markham RFC, founded in 1980, has competed in the Marshall and Keenan Divisions and their men’s Under 18 team are the current Ontario champions. Markham also boasts a vibrant Junior program and a competitive women’s team.

The combined club will be named Markham Irish Canadian Rugby Club and will be in place for the 2010 season. Both clubs are excited with the new synergy and look forward to an exciting campaign.
