Nomads hosted 2nd Annual University/College Talk

Last night at Piper’s Pub in Toronto, the Nomads hosted their second annual University/College talk with their junior boys and girls. On hand was over 40 eager rugby players who were looking to learn about post secondary education and how rugby can be apart of their experience.

Ross Pinkerton the Director of Junior Rugby for the Nomads arranged for players currently in university to come share their experiences and give helpful advice. On hand at the event was reps from University of Toronto, York, Guelph, Queens, McMaster, Wilfred Lauier, Western and Trent.

Jennifer Russell (York University) summed up the night with a few words for the players. “Remember you’re a student athlete, rugby is a way to prepare you for life.”
