Rugby Action continues into Week # 5

Lots of action this past weekend as players look to a weekend off for the Canada Day long weekend.

In the Premier Division, the Toronto Nomads remain undefeated with a 42 – 7 win against the Toronto Dragons. The Dragons are still searching for that elusive first win of the season.

The Nomads Seconds are also playing extremely well in the Premier Second Division, and remain undefeated with a win against the Dragons Second squad.

The Regional B Division saw a couple of defaults by the Orillia Dingos and the Georgian Bay Titans, leaving the Belleville Bulldogs undeafeated. Balmy Beach Academy is tied for first place with the Bulldogs and the Academy is racking up points due to its high scores, this week 59 to 24 against the Cobourg Saxons.

The Toronto Scottish 3rds continue their winning ways and remain undefeated, beating their rivals the Markham Irish 55 to 15.

Both Toronto Women’s sides were in action – in the East the Peterborough Pagans remain at the top conquering the Lindsay Gryphons with a lopsided score of 66 – 0.

The Toronto Women’s West women saw the Brampton Beavers remain undefeated with a win against the Toronto Nomads 67 to 0.

The upcoming long weekend, is Canada Day and all clubs have a break with no games scheduled. It’s a good opportunity for all of us to celebrate our amazing country.

HAPPY CANADA DAY TO ALL!!!
