The Georgian Bay Titans Rugby Football Club was founded in 2007 by Kirsty Stevenson in response to the the rise in popularity of rugby in both elementary and high schools.

In its first season the Titans fielded 3 boys’ teams, U14, U16 and U21, with a membership of 60 players and coaches. The club has continued to grow, with more teams added each year and the introduction of a flag rugby program for younger players. The club now has 150 members.

In 2014 the Titans are fielding U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and Senior Men’s teams.

The Georgian Bay Titans is the only rugby club north of Highway 9 and attracts players from throughout the Georgian Triangle. 8 different high schools and over 40 communities are represented in its membership. 

The Georgian Bay Titans are already an integral part of the community and enjoy a close relationship with the local service clubs like the Collingwood Optimists, participate in various community activities and have a solid volunteer base. Players, parents and coaches look forward to many more successful years of rugby in the Georgian Triangle
