OSHAWA WIN INTERMEDIATE CUP & BELLEVILLE TAKE MCKENNA PLAYOFF CHAMPIONSHIP

The Toronto Rugby Union congratulates the Oshawa Vikings RFC women’s team for winning the Intermediate Cup vs the Toronto Scottish RFC women’s side.  The Vikings won both games in the home and away series on August 10 (26-22) & 17 (41-17), and claim their place in the OWL league for 2020.   The TRU McKenna division welcome the Toronto Scottish for next season.

While the Intermediate Cup was playing out the remainder of the McKenna league were battling for the McKenna Playoff Championship.   The finals came down to the Belleville Bulldogs RFC women’s team hosting the Peterborough Pagans RFC women’s team on August 17.   Both clubs had very strong regular season campaigns, but it was Belleville who came out on top with a 58-10 win.  Congratulations to the Bulldogs!
