U-14 Girls League Coming in 2016
Toronto Rugby is pleased to announce that they will be operating a U-14 Girls Festival League. The league will be ran for the very first time and be open to all Ontario Clubs.
The goal of the U-14 Girls League is to fill the gap from U-12 CO-ED to U-16 Girls Rugby.
Clubs do not need to commit a full side to play in the league. Teams will be combined based on numbers and/or clubs can send girls who can join other clubs each tournament.
For 2016, 15 clubs have already expressed interested or agree to take part.
The schedule for 2016 will be:
June 5 – Aurora Barbarians @ Fletcher’s Field
June 19- Ajax Wanderers
July 10- Belleville Bulldogs
July 24- Peterborough Pagans
Aug 7 – Oakville Crusaders
Aug 28- Rugby Ontario Championship Day @ Fletcher’s Field
