Craig Harris – Teacher, Coach, Mentor, Friend
|The TRU wants to express their sadness at the news out of Peterborough of the passing of Craig Harris this week. Craig was a pillar of rugby in the Peterborough area and in the province as a whole. He worked tirelessly to promote the game and inspired many people to play, coach, and make rugby a part of their lives. Craig coached and ran programs at Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School and Trent University. He also coached for Rugby Ontario and was a founder of the Peterborough Pagan’s senior women’s program. He was a teacher, a coach, a mentor, a friend, and an inspiration to many involved in rugby in our area. Craig’s commitment to the game, and to people in general, will have a lasting impact on rugby in the Peterborough area and in the province. His legacy will be everlasting and for that we owe him our gratitude. Thank you, Craig!
