Andrew Battaglia named to Canada Sevens

Andrew Battaglia ’10 has been named to Canada Sevens Roster for 2016 and will be joining Josiah Morra ’15.

Battaglia played for Toronto Rugby in 2010 at the Ontario Summer Games in Sudbury. He captained the team to a silver medal in the 10 a-side games. A member of the Aurora Barbarians, Battaglia went to Cal University where he was named an All-American Sevens Player on route to countless 15’s and 7’s championships with the Bears.

After graduating Cal, Battaglia spent  last summer coaching the Toronto Rugby Boys West Sevens team along side his former high school coach George Azar.
