Markham Irish Senior Women complete perfect season winning the 2016 McKenna Cup
Congratulations to the Markham Irish Senior Women on a perfect 2016 rugby season!
The Markham Irish defeated the Belleville Bulldogs in the McKenna Cup 24-20 on August 13, in Cobourg to win the league championship, as well as promotion into the newly announced 8-team Rugby Ontario Women’s League in 2017.
The Irish outscored their opponents 436- 103 in 11 matches this summer.
